PUBG Mobile New Era Update, New Erangle Map:
Erangle map for PUBG Mobile has been it’s most played and the oldest map. When the game was launched two years ago on mobile platforms the first-ever map that came with the game was Erangle. Erangle map was originally based on the idea of a soviet-era abandoned Russian military island. The new Era update will bring new elements to the map like tanks and heavy artillery weapons to PUBG mobile though it remains to be seen if players will be able to drive those tanks like they are able to do in Call of Duty mobile.

The new era update announcement did not specify that new changes will be coming to the Erangle map but it seems like that is the case. The New Era update will revamp the game completely by making the graphics and visuals more tight and appealing along with improvements to the game physics. This new update comes after another mobile battle royal game Call of Duty mobile went through a massive revamp. Both games, CODM and PUBG M are developed by different game studios but both of those studios are owned by Tencent games. TiMi is another game developer that is owned by Tencent games and that game studio developed Call of Duty Mobile. So it is possible to see both Battle royal games sharing inspiration from each other.
