The Washington Football Team has activated WR Steven Sims Jr. from the Injured Reserve, making him available to play in the Week 9 rematch vs. the New York Giants on Sunday.
Sims return is a huge help to Washington’s depth at the WR position, where they will now have both of their top-two options set to go, with Terry McLaurin being the main attraction. Sims was not available the last time these two teams played when Washington lost 20-19.
The addition of Sims is also key, considering that WR Dontrelle Inman is doubtful to play on Sunday, according to the injury report. With Isaiah Wright and Antonio Gandy-Golden also banged up, Sims’ presence on the offense is much-needed.
