Tottenham Hotspur’s match tonight against Fulham has been called off after reports of a surge of cases at the West London club.
The match becomes the third Premier League game to be postponed since the season started. Manchester City’s match against Everton was called off earlier this week and Newcastle’s match against Leicester City on Boxing Day was also cancelled. New dates for the matches have not been announced, but a fixture pile-up now seems inevitable.
Just after 2pm on Wednesday, Jose Mourinho posted a message on Instagram apparently mocking the Premier League’s lack of communication around tonight’s fixture.
