New Delhi:
The Supreme Court docket immediately refused to entertain a batch of pleas looking for deferment or cancellation of the Nationwide Eligibility cum Entrance Check (NEET) scheduled for September 13.
A bench headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan stated that authorities will take all mandatory steps for conducting the NEET-undergraduate examination amid the COVID-19 pandemic for admission in medical programs.
“Sorry, we aren’t inclined to entertain,” the bench stated.
The Supreme Court docket had on September four dismissed petitions, together with the one filed by ministers of six opposition-ruled states, looking for assessment of its August 17 order which had paved the best way for holding NEET and JEE exams.
