Singing legend S P Balasubrahmanyam’s funeral is at present underway in Chennai. The final rites shall be carried out with full police honours. S P Balasubrahmanyam died at a Chennai hospital on Friday afternoon. He was 74. Veteran director Bharathiraja, who was additionally on the hospital final night, attended the funeral and so did singer Mano. On Friday night, SPB was taken to his Pink Hills Farmhouse in Thamaraipakkam within the Thiruvallur district in a hearse van, when well-wishers and emotional followers adopted the car to bid SPB a remaining farewell.
