We’ve Talked a Lot About the Upcoming PS5 Games Lately
But let’s not forget that the PS4 itself has given us some fantastic games, even as it approaches the end of its life cycle. 2020 alone has seen the release of instant classics like Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us: Part 2, and the generation isn’t over yet with anticipated games ranging from massive RPG experiences like Cyberpunk 2077 and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, Open world action games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Watch Dogs: Legion, and smaller experiences like The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope all coming to the PS4. Hell, the PS4 has been such a strong console that the PS5 comes with the Playstation Plus Collection – 18 of the console’s biggest hits available to download, free of charge.
Luckily, players at least are being given the chance to purchase some great games for a great price, as Sony has made a massive 67 games available for less than $5 dollars. Sadly the deals are only applicable on the US store, so if you’re south of the border you can take advantage and get some amazing titles like the Resident Evil Remake, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell.

There’s some well-known games available, as well as some underloved ones and… well, the occasional misfire, like Umbrella Corps, so if you’re looking for something to tide you over until the PS5 launches, there’s some good options there that’ll do the job without breaking the bank.
