After a dry spell, Mumbai and its neighbouring areas observed heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning in a single day and early morning on Monday, local weather officers said. City had been witnessing a dry spell for the previous few days, leading to a rise in temperature and humidity.
In accordance with a civic official, Mumbai metropolis recorded 31 mm rain inside the 24-hour interval ending at eight am. Native observe and bus firms weren’t affected and there was no waterlogging anyplace inside the metropolis.

City and its suburbs may have partially cloudy sky with threat of sunshine rain or thundershowers in path of the evening or evening time, the official said quoting forecast of the India Meteorological Division.
