In a Mover’s Paradise
Moving day is always busy, and movers do busy for a living. Every day is something new, and that is apparently reflected in SMG Studio’s Moving Out development process. They have two big updates coming for players. There is the Moving In update, which does not yet have a release date, and there is the Movers in Paradise DLC, which will be coming later this month. This Moving Out DLC has an island theme on its central gameplay mechanics, much like you would see from Overcooked, another Team17 game.
The trailer for Movers in Paradise is short and does not show much gameplay. The glimpse it does offer reveals island-themed moving items like treasure chests, barrels, and other things, perhaps from a shipwreck. Other gameplay obstacles include things like rafts and ziplines to navigate open water. This DLC comes with 14 story levels, 10 arcade levels, and 4 new movers. Judging by the DLC artwork, these movers include a large crab, a toucan, a coconut man in a wheelchair, and a crabhead man, not like a Half-Life headcrab. While we are shown just a snapshot of the Movers in Paradise content, hopefully players will be treated to some unique elements in this DLC not yet seen.
Moreover, since the Moving In update was announced before Movers in Paradise, hopefully fans will also get news of when that will be coming out as well. Movers in Paradise will be out on February 25th. Moving Out is available now for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Amazon Luna.
