Photo Finished
Competition is coming to the Destruction AllStars community. Last month, we talked about the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game and the upcoming Seasons. Like almost all online games, the Destruction AllStars Seasons will have free and premium tiers of rewards. The theme of the first Season will be Hotshots, which will also introduce a new AllStar. Most of the new features being added will be strictly for online modes, like the new Blitz gametype, but there will also be a new photo mode, which looks like it can be used in both online and single player modes.
On Reddit, the improvements and additions to the game in Season 1 have been laid out. On top of all the things mentioned last month, they also went into detail on how to use the photo mode. It is a lot like other standard photo modes. There are controls for repositioning the camera, adjusting depth of field, gamma, saturation, sharpness, as well as options for borders, filters, stickers, and other effects. A great photo mode is nothing without opportunities for extraordinary subjects, so thankfully, Destruction AllStars is all about wonderful moments.
The photo mode is an extension of the slow-mo camera, used for replaying your most intense moments. Developers are teasing the possibility of having photo mode contests after this feature launches with Season 1. Next week, there will be more news and updates for this upcoming season as well, so keep your eyes peeled. Destruction AllStars is available now for PS5.
