Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Monday expressed shock over the Centre’s decision to produce “Y-plus” security to Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, who he talked about, had “insulted” Mumbai and Maharashtra.
Ms Ranaut has been given Y-plus class security by Central firms and she or he shall be protected by about 10 armed commandos across the clock, Union Home ministry officers talked about in New Delhi.
The selection comes two days sooner than Ms Ranaut, who’s in her home state Himachal Pradesh, talked about she plans to go to Mumbai on September 9.
Chatting with reporters proper right here, Ms Deshmukh talked about, “The Centre’s switch to produce security to people who insult Mumbai and Maharashtra is surprising and as well as sad.
“This state belongs to all people, along with the BJP. Kangana Ranaut suggestions must be condemned by all.”
Ms Ranaut is inside the eye of the storm over her newest remarks on Mumbai and its police.
“Why is Mumbai feeling like Pakistan-occupied- Kashmir?” Ms Ranaut had tweeted, inviting criticism from quite a few quarters.
She would require security from Haryana or Himachal Pradesh police and would not accept security from the Mumbai police to disclose an alleged “drug mafia in Bollywood”, the award-winning actor had talked about.
