The India Meteorological Division (IMD) on Saturday predicted average thunderstorms over a number of components of the nation for the subsequent 12 hours together with widespread rains with thunderstorms over peninsular components of the nation over the subsequent 5 days.
“Reasonable thunderstorm and lightning probably at remoted locations in east Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Telangana, coastal Andhra, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Rayalaseema, Konkan and Goa throughout subsequent 12 hours,” the India Meteorological Division mentioned.
“Widespread rain with remoted heavy falls, thunderstorm, and lightning very probably over peninsular India throughout the subsequent 5 days. Heavy to very heavy rain at remoted locations very probably over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Konkan, Goa & coastal Karnataka on September 12,” the IMD added.
It additional predicted heavy rain at remoted locations over sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and northeast India throughout the subsequent three to 4 days.
“Rainfall distribution and depth very more likely to improve over Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Maharashtra & Gujarat from September 12 onward,” the IMD mentioned.
