Maharashtra Residence Minister Anil Deshmukh on Thursday welcomed a Public Curiosity Litigation (PIL) filed by former IPS officers in reference to the “unfair, malicious and false media advertising marketing campaign” in opposition to the Mumbai Police inside the Sushant Singh Rajput’s dying case.
Stressing that Maharashtra Police and the Mumbai Police have a “reputation” Mr Desmukh acknowledged, “The Maharashtra Police is compared with Scotland Yard Police. The type throughout which Mumbai Police was targetted in Sushant Singh Rajput case, I welcome the PIL filed by retired IPS officers.”
On August 31, eight former IPS officers moved the Bombay Extreme Courtroom, urging it to stop the “media trial” inside the late actor’s dying case.
