Uber has rolled out its ‘rider masks verification’ security function throughout Canada, following its ‘No Mask, No Ride’ policy applied in Might.
The corporate notes that so far, greater than 1,250 riders throughout Canada and the U.S. have misplaced entry for repeatedly violating its masks coverage.
Now, if a driver notifies Uber {that a} rider wasn’t sporting a masks, the rider shall be required to take a selfie with their masks or face cowl earlier than they can take their subsequent journey.
