Take a Look at All the Presenters Announced So Far
The Game Awards are less than a week away and while the recent announcement of this year’s categories and nominees might be the most exciting news, the announcement of the evening’s presenters has been keeping us on the edge of our seat.
The Game Awards is one of the most important annual events in the gaming industry, so it is no surprise that they would be pulling out all the stops when it comes to the talent participating in the show. There have been a variety of presenters announced so far and trust me when I say we have a lot of big names to look forward to seeing during Thursday’s award show.
First off let’s take a look at a couple of the super women that will be presenting awards. When I say “super women” I don’t mean that as a compliment, I mean that literally as we will be seeing both Gal Gadot, the actress who plays Wonder Woman in the DCU, and Brie Larson, the actress who plays Captain Marvel in the MCU. Both actresses are extremely notable celebrities these days having recently starred in the major blockbusters Justice League and Avengers: End Game respectively. The two actresses have made it clear through their own personal social media channels that they are big gamers in their free time–Larson has even appeared in some recent Nintendo commercials!
Next up we have some seriously talented actors, including Troy Baker, an extremely prolific voice actor who plays just about everything. To name just a few Baker has voiced the characters of Joel in The Last of Us II, Simon Krieger in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Bruce Banner in Marvel’s The Avengers—and that’s just this year. While Troy Baker may be a powerhouse in the voice over world, Tom Holland is equally as successful when it comes to live action work. Not only does he play Spider-Man in the MCU, but he will also be starring in the upcoming Uncharted film as the protagonist, Nathan Drake. Holland will also be presenting during the Game Awards.
There’s a lot to look forward to from this year’s Game Awards, even the Swedish Chef will be presenting an award. There will also be a performance from Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder.
