Telus-owned healthcare supplier Medisys has reported an information breach affecting 60,000 purchasers’ personal information.
The corporate, which provides preventative properly being assessments and suppliers, says that it retrieved the stolen personal information by paying a ransom, as reported by Global News. The breach has affected about 5 % of Medisys’ purchasers.
The personal information that was stolen could embrace names, contact information, provincial properly being numbers and check out outcomes. The corporate says that monetary information and social insurance coverage protection safety numbers weren’t uncovered.
