Nintendo Has Announced a New Collaboration With the Design Brand
Looking to add a bit of that gamer flair to your style? Well, Nintendo is once again continuing their collaboration with shoe and clothing designer, Puma. The shoe company has been working with Nintendo for quite some time now, having previously released the RS-Dreamer Super Mario 64™ Basketball Shoes in September, shortly before announcing the new Super Mario 3D All-Stars inspired collection we are seeing released now. The new Super Mario Collection features a series of shoes, each inspired by one of the classic games included in Super Mario 3D All-Stars.
The first to release was the Future Rider Super Mario 64™ Men’s Sneakers which hit the stores and online just a few short days ago.
Today, Nintendo has uploaded a video to their YouTube channel, teasing the rest of the collection. As a follow up to the release of the RS-Dreamer Super Mario 64™ Basketball Shoes, we will soon be getting the RS-Dreamer Super Mario Sunshine™ Basketball Shoes, which are set to release on November 27th. The shoes are a light blue color with a wave-like design to represent the game’s tropical atmosphere. It even includes a little shine on the back of each shoe. Accompanying the release of the Sunshine themed RS-Dreamers, will be the release of the RS-Fast Super Mario Galaxy shoes, and the Clyde Super Mario Sunshine shoes.
The video also showed off the Future Rider Nintendo Entertainment System shoes, featuring power and reset buttons on the sides, a Super Mario Bros. cartridge on the front of the tongue, and an image of Bowser standing on the bridge on the inside of the shoes. The Future Rider Nintendo Entertainment System shoes will be available a week later, on December 4th.
The collection will also include some clothing options such as a Super Mario Galaxy long sleeve shirt. Make sure to check out the video below for all the details. Check out puma’s website when the rest of the collection drops to get your own Super Mario themed wardrobe.
