While the Los Angeles Lakers have established their footing over the last few games, the team visiting them on Tuesday night has their eyes on not only beating them in the upcoming game but also later when the games really count in the postseason.
The Phoenix Suns have been one of the most consistent teams in the league this season after adding Chris Paul to a promising mix of young players. Paul, an All-Star once again, has put his imprint on the team, bringing his professionalism and late-game poise to a group brimming with talent led by fellow All-Star Devin Booker.
The currently 4th-placed Suns come into Monday night with a 22-11 record, only one game behind the Lakers in the standings, and a half-game behind the Clippers.
