Build Forts With Friends From the Comfort of Your Couch
3 Years after the game’s full release, Rust is more popular than ever. That may be in part due to the somewhat recent resurgence of the game on Twitch, as 60+ popular streamers all conveyed to a singular server earlier this year. However, it is also because the game is just that good. After 450,000 positive reviews on Steam, console players will finally be able to experience the sandbox survival game for themselves.
Rust Console Edition was officially announced earlier today with a brand new teaser trailer for the port of the game.
The trailer states that the game will be releasing on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, though a specific release date is not known as of now. However, you can sign up to be notified when pre-orders become available and to participate in the upcoming beta, by filling out the form on the game’s website right here.
The trailer highlights a group of players, decked in the standard hazmat suit attire, exploring the game’s world and participating in combat. Visually the game looks comparable to the most recent versions of the PC version of the game.
