Mumbai:
The rupee rebounded by 33 paise to close at 73.14 in the direction of the US dollar on Friday, shrugging off tepid sentiment emanating from selloffs in house equities and weak macroeconomic indicators.
On a weekly basis, the house foreign exchange gained 25 paise vis-a-vis US dollar.
