Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met his counterparts from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan in Moscow on Saturday and talked about strategies to extra enhance bilateral defence cooperation with the vital factor Central Asian nations.
Mr Singh is in Moscow on a three-day go to to Russia to attend an vital meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) defence ministers. The SCO consists of eight member states — India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
It is Mr Singh’s second go to to Moscow since June. He had represented India on the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on June 24 that commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany inside the Second World Battle.
