Footage broadcast by state-owned Vietnam Tv (VTV) this week confirmed dozens of enormous luggage containing the used contraceptives scattered throughout the ground of a warehouse within the southern province of Binh Duong.
Police stated the luggage weighed greater than 360 kilograms (794 lbs), equal to 345,000 condoms, based on VTV.
The proprietor of the warehouse stated that they had acquired a “month-to-month enter of used condoms from an unknown individual,” state newspaper Tuoi Tre reported.
A lady detained in the course of the bust instructed police that the used prophylactics had been first boiled in water then dried and reshaped on a picket phallus earlier than being repackaged and resold.
VTV stated it was not clear how most of the recycled condoms had already been offered. The detained girl stated she had acquired $0.17 for each kilogramme of recycled condoms she produced.
Neither she nor the proprietor of the warehouse had been obtainable for remark.
