Over 165 police personnel in Maharashtra have died of COVID-19 so far, state Dwelling Minister Anil Deshmukh acknowledged on Saturday.
Praising the Maharashtra Police for his or her job via the pandemic, Mr Deshmukh educated that better than 165 police personnel have been martyred whereas trying to protect people from the virus.
“The recognition of the Maharashtra Police reached its all-time extreme via the pandemic,” he acknowledged whereas addressing a farewell function for outgoing Police Commissioner Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay.
He launched that Nagpur will shortly get horse-mounted police fashions on the strains of Mumbai Police.
