Protect Yourself From What Goes Bump in the Night
Night is Coming is a building sim with a difference. While there’s still a focus on building a society, the difference is that as well as protecting your people from the elements, you have to protect them from the oncoming darkness – and the monsters it brings. The game is set in a dark fantasy universe inspired by Slavic folklore, particularly the Carpathian region – home of one of the world’s most famous villains, Count Dracula. The game features adaptive AI and brutal combat that’ll make it a particularly gruesome addition to the genre, as well as making it stand out from other games. After all, how many building sims let you set up fortifications and casting spells to protect yourself from vampires, ghouls, or werewolves?
The new publishing deal with The Koch Media Group and Ravenscourt will see Koch Media take over worldwide publishing rights and take responsibility for the global marketing campaign, bringing the game to a much wider audience.
Sergey Kornilov, CEO of the game’s developer Wild Forest, said: “I am very happy to team up with Koch Media for our upcoming release of Night is Coming. Being part of an international family will not only increase our reach but will also give valuable new impulses.”
Koch Media seem equally excited about their most recent acquisition, with marketing director Mario Gerhold stating: “We are delighted to team up with Wild Forest Studio for this upcoming release. Night is coming fits perfectly into our broad portfolio of quality games and will be a valuable addition to the Ravenscourt label. All our teams are looking forward to support Wild Forest Studio with our combined local networks and global publishing expertise.”
