More The Last of Us Part II Content?
It appears as if The Last of Us developer, Naughty Dog has some cool projects in the works –or at least, according to Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann they do.
Druckmann teased on his Twitter page earlier today that the developer is working on “several cool things”.
If you tweet at me, asking about a future project, I can’t say anything… Please stay patient. We have several cool things we can’t wait to share with you. As soon as we can, we will! pic.twitter.com/kzzCmvS5a0

“If you tweet at me, asking about a future project, I can’t say anything… Please stay patient. We have several cool things we can’t wait to share with you. As soon as we can, we will!”
Unfortunately, Druckmann didn’t get any further information on what these cool things might be. Considering his request for fans to be patient, it isn’t likely that we’ll see these things in the foreseeable future.
This isn’t the first time in recent memory that Druckmann has teased the fact that that the developer is working on something cool, posting a very similar statement earlier this year. Druckmann shared a Naughty Dog job ad back in January, stating “Come work with us! We’re making something very cool!”.
It’s hard to say what Naughty Dog is working on, and whether its a single project or multiple.
Considering the incredible reception of Game of the Year winner, The Last of Us Part II, it is very likely that we will see the game again in some compacity. Other major PlayStation 4 titles such as God of War and Days Gone have received enhanced editions for PlayStation 5, so it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that The Last of Us Part II will also be officially making its way over to the PlayStation 5.
There could even be some sort of downloadable content for The Last of Us Part II in the works, but considering the lack of DLC support for the first game, that might not be the most likely.
Of course, Naughty Dog may also be working on their other flagship series, Uncharted, or perhaps a new IP all together. Regardless, for all the latest info on Naughty Dog’s development plans –keep an eye on COGconnected!
