Barcelona captain and all-time principal goalscorer Lionel Messi has talked about he’ll hold – 10 days after telling the membership he wished to go away.
Messi, 33, despatched a fax to Barca closing Tuesday saying he wished to coach a clause in his contract which he talked about allowed him to go away freed from cost.
Nonetheless the membership and La Liga have talked about he can solely go away now if his 700m euro (£624m) launch clause is met.
“I believed and was sure that I was free to go away,” Messi suggested Goal.
“The president always talked about that on the end of the season I could resolve if I stayed or not.
“Now they cling to the reality that I did not say it sooner than 10 June, when evidently on 10 June we had been competing for La Liga in the midst of this horrible coronavirus and this sickness altered all the season.
“And that’s the rationale why I will proceed inside the membership. Now I will proceed inside the membership on account of the president suggested me that the one method to go away was to pay the 700m clause, and that that’s unattainable.”
