Fortnite Zero Point Just Got a Whole Lot More Badass
Kratos recently joined Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 as PlayStation’s Fortnite representative, and now the rumors about Master Chief being Xbox’s representative have been confirmed. Creative Director at Epic Games Donald Mustard joined an all-star cast at The Game Awards 2020 when he revealed Master Chief for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5, in addition to Derryl and Michonne from the Walking Dead, and a Fortnite Creative Mode recreation of the original Halo Blood Gulch map. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, and mobile.
Grif and Sarge from the web series Red vs. Blue were joined by familiar Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins in announcing the new Creative mode map that recreates Halo’s classic Blood Gulch to great detail. The map will be available starting tomorrow morning at 10 A.M. EST. for rounds of Capture the Flag which is sure to invoke feelings of nostalgia in Halo fans that also play Fortnite. Master Chief was rumored to be coming to Fortnite after the release of Kratos, and Nintendo fans are currently anticipating that Samus Aran is the next bounty hunter joining the fray.
The recently added Master Chief Fortnite skin costs 1500 V-bucks, the UNSC Pelican Glider joins Master Chief as well, and it will run Fortnite fans back 1200 V-bucks. The Gravity Hammer Pickaxe has also been added to Epic Games’ battle royale for 800 V-bucks, and the Lil’ Warthog traversal Emote costs 500 V-bucks. The whole package brings everything together as the Master Chief Bundle, which costs 2600 V-bucks.
While we were expecting to see what Epic Games has planned for the Twelve Days of Fortnite, Master Chief is definitely worthy of the Creative Mode map treatment in addition to his Item Shop bundle.
