Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Broke Limited Run Records
Limited Run Games has officially announced that Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch has officially become its biggest release to date. The Limited Run editions of the re-released title set gamers back $35 for the standard version, $55 for a classic edition, and a special K.O. set for $140 which all include increasingly more loot alongside the game itself. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
“In less than 3 hours we sold 25,000 copies of Scott Pilgrim on Switch! Thank you so much for your support in making this our biggest release of all time!” said Limited Run Games’ owner Douglas Bogart on his official Twitter account. “Not so limited huh?” The different Limited Run Games editions of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition include goodies such as instruction booklets, stickers, soundtrack CDs, maps, and more.
While the original Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game first released back in 2010, it was delisted in 2014 and has officially re-released earlier this year. Limited Run Games joined several other retailers to ensure that far fewer people miss out on the chance to play Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game in case this version of the title is also eventually delisted.
Limited Run Games is great for releasing physical copies of digital titles, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition is no different. Which games have you purchased through Limited Run Games? Let us know in the comments below!
