Lenovo India just had a launch event and it was in fact LegionDary. Three new laptops were launched in the live event. Sadly, no AMD Ryzen but we did get new 10th Gen Intel devices with Nvidia graphics. The focus was mainly on the Lenovo Legion 7i. This is a gaming laptop that is targetted towards content creators and streamers. The Lenovo Legion 7i is going to be the flagship gaming notebook for the Indian markets.
Specifications of the Lenovo Legion 7i India:
The Lenovo Legion 7i is going to be powered by the Intel 10th Gen processors. There are three CPU options available for the Lenovo Legion 7i. One is the Intel i7-10875H processor clocked at 2.30 GHz, up to 5.10 GHz with Turbo Boost, 8 Cores, 16 Threads, 16 MB Cache. The other is the Intel i7 10750H processor clocked at 2.60GHz, up to 5.00GHz with Turbo Boost, 6 Cores, 12 Threads, 12MB Cache. The third CPU option is the Intel i5 10300H processor clocked at 2.50 GHz, up to 4.50 GHz with Turbo Boost, 4 Cores, 8 Threads, 8 MB Cache.
When it comes to the GPU, there are five different options for the Lenovo Legion 7i. Starting from the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q 8GB. The other options are NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q 8GB, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Max-Q 8GB. This will give customers a ton of options to configure their machines according to their needs.
For display the Lenovo Legion 7i has three different panels based on the configuration users buy. First is the 15.6 FHD panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution. This is an IPS panel with an anti-glare coating and a 144Hz refresh rate. 3ms response time, 100% sRGB color accuracy, and brightness up to 300 nits. Another panel is the 15.6-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate but with 500 nits, VESA DisplayHDR 400-certified, Dolby Vision enabled. The third panel is similar to the second panel but with a 240Hz refresh rate.
Ram is expandable up to 32GB. For storage, there is Up to 1 TB PCIe SSD and Dual Drive Configurations available. The keyboard is backlit and uses Corsair iCUE RGB lights. For audio, there are dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. The wifi card is Intel WiFi 6 and there is Bluetooth 5.0. There are plenty of ports on the Lenovo Legion 7i. On the right side of the laptop, there is a USB 3.1 Gen 1 port. At the back, there are 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, 1 x HDMI 2.0 port, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and a charging port. On the left side of the laptop, there is 1 Thunderbolt 3 Type-C port, a USB-C port, and a Headphone/mic combo port.
Price and Sale of Lenovo Legion 7i in India
The Lenovo Legion 7i will go on sale at Rs. 199,990 in India. The laptop will be available for purchase on Lenovo India’s official website and other e-commerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon.
