With Bihar’s ruling JD(U) alleging violation of the jail guide by permitting RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav ship a letter to Raghuvansh Prasad Singh asking him to not give up the celebration, the Jharkhand jail division on Friday stated that the letter had “private contents” and never political and no guidelines have been bent within the matter.
Bihar Data and Public Relations division minister and JD(U) chief Neeraj Kumar had alleged violation of Bihar-Jharkhand jail guide within the case.
He pointed to provision of the guide that stated “letters shall solely refer to non-public issues and no reference shall be made to jail administration, or self-discipline, to different prisoners or to politics” in help of his cost.
