Throughout the assault on September 27, Tadataka Unno was exiting the West 135th Avenue station in Harlem when he was confronted by a gaggle of younger individuals blocking the turnstiles, in line with a police report.
Police stated that after Unno tried to keep away from them, he was pushed from behind and two individuals started yelling at him. One male started beating Unno, adopted him, and continued to assault him, inflicting Unno to fall to the bottom. The male fled the scene and Unno was transported to a close-by hospital. No arrests have been made, in line with the NYPD.

Unno recovering from surgical procedure
Jennings wrote on the GoFundMe web page that the “assailants broke Tada’s proper collar bone, bruised his head, and physique” and that he was rushed to the emergency room after the assault.
Unno is at the moment recovering from surgical procedure, his spouse Sayaka informed CNN.
Jennings says that a lot of the GoFundMe donations had been between $5 and $100, and stemmed primarily from the jazz group, which has been hard-hit by Covid-19 restrictions.
