Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday congratulated the Defence Evaluation and Enchancment Organisation (DRDO) for effectively testing the indigenously developed Hypersonic Know-how Demonstrator Car (HSTDV), saying it is a landmark achievement in route of realising the imaginative and prescient of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant India).
“The @DRDO_India has presently effectively flight examined the Hypersonic Know-how Demonstrator Car using the indigenously developed scramjet propulsion system. With this success, all very important utilized sciences are literally established to progress to the next part,” he tweeted.
“I congratulate to DRDO on this landmark achievement in route of realising the Prime Minister’s imaginative and prescient of Atmanirbhar Bharat. I spoke to the scientists associated to the endeavor and congratulated them on this good achievement. India is proud of them,” the Defence Minister talked about in a single different tweet.
The HSTDV is an unmanned scramjet demonstration aircraft for hypersonic tempo flight. It could cruise at a tempo of Mach 6 and an altitude of 32.5 kilometres.
