Get Ready for a Bloody Good Time
Multiplayer games have come a long way in the past few years. While first-person shooter based experiences have always been popular, there’s been a big shift towards assymetrical PVP, with one character taking the role of the monster while everyone else plays the survivors/heroes trying to escape.
There’s a horde on its way. Let’s bring the fight to them! Pre-order your copy of #Back4Blood today! https://t.co/CQjtAnxBnk pic.twitter.com/dU9s6eHKOu

Back 4 Blood – the spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead series – is going back to the roots of the genre, with a diverse team of heroes facing off against an equally diverse variety of zombies – this time infected with a parasitic worm as opposed to a virus. The gem was announced with a stylish trailer during The Game Awards (below) and quickly got the attention of people with a Left 4 Dead shaped hole in their heart that wasn’t filled by last year’s World War Z, and now we have our first look at what you can expect with the pre-orders.
Everyone who pre-orders the game will get… well, the game. Opting for the deluxe edition also nets you early access – bound to make you a valuable asset when the game launches proper, as you’ll have some cards – which are used to unlock in-game perks like extra currency or a free grab escape – which you can use to your team’s advantage. It’ll also help you learn the level layouts which, although the encounters can vary, is bound to help.
The deluxe edition also gives you access to the annual pass (season pass) which means extra characters, levels, and other DLC.
Finally, the Ultimate Edition nets you all the bonuses of the Deluxe edition, plus exclusive digital content, which includes new skins, meaning that you can make fighting through an apocalyptic wasteland look fly as hell.
