The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is in opposition to holding of the NEET through the coronavirus pandemic, stated DMK Youth Wing Secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin on Saturday. He questioned the protection of the scholars showing for the examinations.
“College students are going by means of stress because of the NEET examination which has been scheduled by the Centre and the State authorities,” he instructed information company ANI.
“We (DMK) are in opposition to NEET examination being held throughout coronavirus pandemic,” stated Mr Stalin.
“The federal government is saying that they’re taking precautionary measures however what’s the assurance that the scholars wouldn’t get an an infection,” he added.
“Greater than 1 lakh college students are going to put in writing the exams. Who’s going to offer the reassurance and security of the scholars?” he requested.
NEET 2020 examination is scheduled to be held on September 13 in view of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
