Coming to PC and Consoles This Year
Today was the first day of BlizzCon 2021, a two-day presentation event held by Activision Blizzard to highlight some of their current and upcoming titles. One announcement that made waves tonight was that of the long awaited Diablo II remake as Blizzard officially announced Diablo II Resurrected.
Diablo II Resurrected is a remake of the original Diablo II released all the way back in 2000. Resurrected includes all of the content from Diablo II and its Lord of Destruction® expansion. The game will be releasing later this year and has been confirmed to be making its way to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Players who purchase the game for multiple platforms will be able to take advantage of the cross-progression options.
A technical Alpha will be making its way to PC soon –players can pre-regrister for the Alpha right here.
The game will cost $39.99 for the standard edition, though a Diablo Prime Evil Collection which includes the Diablo III: Eternal Collection is also available for purchase as well.
