The CBI has charged Delhi Police Extra DCP Sanjay Kumar for allegedly submitting cast credentials and paperwork for choice within the Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Police Service (DANIPS), officers stated on Wednesday.
The Central Bureau of Investigation’s groups carried out searches on the workplace and residential of Mr Kumar on Wednesday after registering the case, they stated.
The CBI acted on a grievance towards Mr Kumar that he used credentials of one other particular person having an identical title to get chosen in DANIPS, they stated.
