Mass Excitement
The big news yesterday (in gaming) was the announcement of one of BioWare’s flagship series getting a remaster. Mass Effect Legendary Edition will see Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 all new and shiny for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2021. In celebration of N7 Day, Dark Horse has unveiled a few snazzy Mass Effect products for fans of the series. While they may not enhance the gaming experience, they can enrich your humble abode as decorative pieces to show guests you are a person of many worlds and paths. All three of the new products are limited edition pieces, so if you want them, you will want to pull the trigger on them.
Each item is different from the others, so if one of them is not for you, maybe another will be perfect. First up is the 4-Print Character Portfolio. This has character art of Liara T’Soni, the Illusive Man, Garrus Vakarian, and Aria T’Loak. Each print is 8″x12″. Next is the Paragon and Renegade Book Ends. It’s pretty self-explanatory, unless you are a filthy degenerate who doesn’t own books! Like me! These book ends stand at 8.5″ tall and 4.25″ wide. Finally, perhaps the coolest one: the Alliance Normandy SR-1 Ship Replica. It’s the Normandy. It is 14″ long, 5.6″ wide, and sits atop a standing rod secured to a moon terrain base.
Now of the damages. The 4-Print Character Portfolio costs $125 USD, however it also comes with a code for a digital set of Mass Effect: The Complete Comics series, which is a 784 page series by Dark Horse Comics. The Paragon and Renegade Book Ends cost $100 USD, and the Normandy Replica costs $250 USD. Ooh, that’s expensive, but there are only 500 of them to be made. Only fans will know if it’s worth it or not. Depending on which one you want, these products will start shipping as early as next month.
