Champions Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table following a crucial win over Tottenham earlier this week.
Jurgen Klopp, who was named Fifa Best coach of the year on Thursday, watched his players earn a late victory over Spurs at Anfield, with Roberto Firmino heading the deciding goal in the final moments to see the Reds pull three points clear of their title rivals. And they could extend that lead before Tottenham play on Sunday, should they get a result at Crystal Palace.
Roy Hodgson’s Eagles played out a 1-1 draw away to West Ham on Wednesday, with Christian Benteke putting his side ahead before being sent off after seeing his side concede a Sebastien Haller overhead kick. That result has Palace 12th in the standings ahead of the weekend’s early kick-off, and an upset against Liverpool would send them into the top half.

Prediction
Despite their injury crisis, Liverpool found a way past Spurs to claim top spot this week. The confidence and momentum that will give them should not be overlooked. Palace are a solid outfit this season, but an upset doesn’t feel too likely this weekend. Palace 0-2 Liverpool.
