Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Coming to Nintendo Switch
The official Nintendo of America Twitter account recently teased the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and it’s official, the definitive skateboarding experience is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. Crash Bandicoot recently crashed his way onto the platform and apparently he’s enlisted his friend Tony Hawk to join him on Nintendo’s latest console. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 easily won The Game Awards’ Best Sports Game of 2020 and it’s finally coming to Nintendo Switch. While fans on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 waiting for this skateboarding compilation only have to wait until next month to experience THPS1+2, Nintendo Switch skateboarders will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on this definitive remake of two of the best Tony Hawk titles to date.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 was the fastest title in the series to sell one million units and launching on Nintendo Switch will surely expand the community of gamers who learn to kickflip and 50-50 their way from one stage to another. Crash Bandicoot has apparently leveraged his clout to bring THPS1+2 to Nintendo Switch in exchange for personal skating lessons from the Hawkster himself, which created a fun and creative Twitter dialogue between the two parties teasing today’s announcement.
