It’s About Time… to Play Crash 4 Again
A new gameplay trailer for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time shows off the game running at 60 frames per second in stunning 4K on the PlayStation 5.
The trailer also reveals that the game will take full advantage of the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers, allowing you to feel the movement of every single blast. It will also offer enhanced 3D audio, and save imports from the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
Speaking of the PlayStation 4 version, they also gave more details on how you can claim the free upgrade from the PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5.
For digital owners of the PS4 version, the PS5 version will be downloadable at no additional cost. Owners with a physical PlayStation 4 copy of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will have to have a PlayStation 5 with a disc drive in order to take advantage of the free upgrade and will need to insert the disk every time they want to download or play the game.
While no confirmation has been giving, it is quite likely that the Xbox Series X/S upgrade will also work very similarly.
The PlayStation 5 version, along with the recently announced Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game will be available on March 12, 2021. The PC version will be available through the Battle.net app.
