Resident Evil Fans, Mark Your Calendars
Capcom has officially announced an upcoming Resident Evil showcase that will unveil the next RE title and additional Resident Evil content that fans can expect in the future. The Resident Evil Showcase will take place on January 21st at 11 pm CET. The upcoming RE showcase is celebrating 25 years of Resident Evil, and Capcom has teased news beyond RE Village. Resident Evil 3 Remake is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
“Don’t miss the Resident Evil Showcase on January 21st at 10 pm GMT/11 pm CET!” said a recent Tweet from the official Capcom Europe Twitter account. “Join Brittney Brombacher on a guided tour of Resident Evil Village, including a new trailer, first-ever gameplay, and lots more Resident Evil news!” While some gamers are speculating a Resident Evil 4 Remake, or a direct sequel to Resident Evil: Revelations, but only Capcom knows what to expect beyond Resident Evil Village content.
A handful of Twitter users took to Capcom Europe’s announcement about the Resident Evil showcase to speculate on other upcoming Capcom announcements such as Onimusha 2 & 3 remakes, Nintendo Switch ports of various titles, and more Dino Crisis, but none of these will be part of the Resident Evil showcase. Capcom has teased more RE news alongside 25th Anniversary promotions, suggesting a project that celebrates the last 25 years of Resident Evil.
