All college students residing on-campus shall be examined for the virus, and in-person lessons have been canceled for the following two weeks, CSULB President Jane Shut Conoley mentioned in a letter to the university’s community.
The choice comes after college officers realized that “plenty of college students who haven’t heeded our steering associated to COVID-19 precautions and congregated socially off campus earlier this month,” Conoley mentioned.

The quarantine will affect about 1,000 college students who’re residing on campus for the autumn semester and an estimated 3,000-4,000 college students who attend in-person lessons, in line with the university’s safety measures.
