Every product and deal we’ve selected here has been carefully chosen by our experts. Each product has scored well in our independent lab tests too – although we haven’t rated them all Best Buys, so we recommend you check our thorough reviews to be sure each product is exactly right for you.
Argos often feature products with ‘WOW’ but that doesn’t mean the products or deals are good, and they often favour their own exclusive brands like Bush. We only highlight deals that we honestly regard as good value, through our in-depth pricing know-how, so you can be certain you’ll bag a bargain.

Argos Black Friday TV deals
Samsung UE55TU7020KXXU 4K TV – was £479, now £399
Argos exclusive model
We liked: good 4K picture, great menus, decent sound
We didn’t like: HDR (to adjust contrast) could be better, dark contrast, blurry standard definition (SD) picture
This model is part of Samsung’s brand new 4K range launched for Black Friday. Its low price makes it an attractive option if you’re looking for a 4K TV that won’t break the bank. But there are also rival models like the slightly more expensive LG 55UN73006LA, available for £429 at Currys PC World*. So is it worth going for the Samsung, or paying a little more?
Read our full Samsung UE55TU7020KXXU review to find out, or buy it now at Argos.
*A recent Which? investigation into Currys PC World suggests the firm has an issue with how it handles complaints about faulty products. So do consider this before making a purchase.
Our TVs expert says
“Argos has a wide range of TVs from leading brands, including LG and Samsung, but the cheapest models are from its own brand, Bush. We’d advise you stick with the bigger brands though. Falling prices means you don’t need to pay that much more for an LG or Samsung TV and they tend to be higher quality. We haven’t tested any Bush TVs in 2020, but models we’ve reviewed in the past have been poor. Stick with the brands you know and use our reviews to find the best model.”

Argos Black Friday headphone deals
Sony WH-1000XM3 active noise cancelling headphones – now £219, Argos’ lowest price ever
Same price at: Currys PC World, John Lewis, Hughes
We liked: Sound quality, noise cancelling, well-featured smartphone app
We didn’t like: Touch controls could be better
The Sony WH-1000XM3 are Sony’s previous-generation flagship noise cancelling headphones. Since their successors the Sony WH-1000XM4 were released this year (costing a steep £349), the XM3s are being now offered at extremely attractive prices. Headphones with effective noise cancelling are rarely cheap, but with the XM3 deal here you’re now getting the quality of a top-of-the-range pair at a surprisingly mid-range price point. But being released back in 2018, are the XM3s still one of the best pairs around?

Our headphones expert says
“The Apple AirPods are bound to be a popular choice this Black Friday, but there are lots of rivals as well – many are cheaper too. Some come with extra features like noise-isolating earpieces, waterproofing and some are specially designed for sports. In-ear headphones also aren’t for everyone and over-ear and on-ear headphones can offer longer battery lives as well. If you’re looking for active noise cancelling to effectively cancel out background sounds, expect to spend around £100 more than basic headphones, as we find in our rigorous lab tests that cheap noise cancelling headphones – with a small number of exceptions – frequently disappoint.”

Other Argos Black Friday deals
JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker – now £80, Argos’ lowest price ever
Same price at: Amazon, Currys PC World, ao.com (£1 cheaper), very.co.uk
We liked: Decent sound quality, good battery life, easy to use, waterproof
We didn’t like: Sound could be even better
The JBL Flip 5 is an ideally-sized portable speaker, large enough for a powerful sound while being not too big and heavy to carry out, plus having a handy carry strap to attach it to your bag or the roof of your tent. But how does it compare to rivals in this competitive market, and is its quality a cut above budget models?

Returning Black Friday purchases to Argos
Because of the continuing disruption from the coronavirus pandemic, Argos has extended its returns policy. Any items purchased from Sunday 18 October through to 25 December can be returned right up until Sunday 24 January 2021.
There are exceptions for some items like food, pierced jewellery and underwear which can’t be exchanged or refunded, unless they are faulty. Argos’ website and catalogue highlights these items which are non-refundable. Items purchased before 18 October 2020 follow Argos’ usual 30 days returns guarantee, so can no longer be returned.
- For in store purchases at Argos Return your items to an Argos store. In England from Thursday 5 November to Wednesday 2 December, you can only return items to an Argos store within a Sainsbury’s supermarket. In Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland Argos stores remain open and items can still be returned. Argos stores are unable to accept returns of large items (ones that would require two people to deliver) at this time. To arrange a collection for large items, contact Argos’ Live Chat team.
- For online purchases at Argos You can either simply return the product to an Argos store as explained above, or arrange a collection for small and large items delivered by home delivery contact Argos’ Live Chat team.
