Battlefield V Performance Increased Next-Gen
EA Dice released the final content update for Battlefield V back in June, but it seems like Battlefield V will release on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 at 4K resolution and 60 fps. EA hasn’t officially confirmed the performance improvements for Battlefield V on next-gen consoles, but a Twitter user known as Jackfrags has confirmed the next-gen performance on their Xbox Series X. Battlefield V is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with these next-gen visual improvements coming soon.
Many gaming journalists got their hands on the Xbox Series X a little early, and Jackfrags was apparently among the content creators that Microsoft sent an early console to preview. While the frame rate of Battlefield V often dipped on the Xbox One X, this apparently isn’t an issue on the Xbox Series X. The frame rate remains a consistent 60FPS while producing quality 4K visuals. Jackfrags doesn’t have a preview PS5, but it’s likely that the PlayStation version of Battlefield V will run similarly on the PS5 as well.
The visuals of Battlefield V may be getting improved on next-gen consoles, but load times will also be significantly improved thanks to the NVMe SSD’s offered with the Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Considering a majority of Battlefield V gamers take the fight online, matchmaking will likely improve thanks to the faster load times on next-gen consoles. EA Dice has officially confirmed a new Battlefield game coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5, but Battlefield V will carry forward to the next generation to give Battlefield fans plenty to enjoy in the meantime.
