Next Month, We Dine in Valhalla!
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been out on PC and consoles for about 6 months now, and though it is jammed full of content and things to keep players busy, a lot of people are just about ready for more. After stripping England clean of her riches, Eivor will be heading to Ireland in the Wrath of the Druids DLC. We got a little bit of more detailed information on the first major Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC ahead of its release, but what we did not foresee was the delay that would befall this DLC.
We were supposed to be playing Wrath of the Druids at the end of the month, but Ubisoft announced that it would be pushed back into the middle of May. While it is a bummer, of course, everyone wants the DLC to be good and have a smooth launch. Usually when delays are announced nowadays, people just sigh and move on. This time, Ubisoft is apparently preparing “an article to provide transparency and share insights on our dev process.” That’s actually pretty nice of them. We all like to think we know exactly how easy or hard to job of a developer is, but maybe we will see a breakdown of the challenges they face, especially when working from home.
To deliver a more refined experience, we’re sharing that:
⛰️Wrath of the Druids will now release on May 13
