The opposition on Tuesday boycotted the Lok Sabha session over Centre’s refusal to simply accept its demand for withdrawal of farm payments handed by Parliament. The lawmakers additionally protested in solidarity with the eight Rajya Sabha members who have been suspended for “misbehaving” with the Rajya Sabha deputy chairman throughout farm payments debate on Sunday.

These payments have already been handed by the Lok Sabha and are awaiting President’s nod.
The federal government says that these payments will assist increase the farming sector by way of non-public investments.
The opposition had demonstrated its disapproval within the Higher Home of Parliament towards the suspension of MPs and passage of those payments, with TMC MP Derek O’Brien indicting to the media that the opposition events have been more likely to boycott the Lok Sabha session as effectively.
