Mobile ports of famous battle royal games have become quite common. PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and Call of Duty Mobile are some of the most famous examples. Releasing a famous PC or Console game on mobile devices almost guarantees success if we look at the games that have been released before. Apex Legends has been one of the most successful battle royal games and has been consistent with the number of viewers it is getting on Twitch.
In markets like India where consoles and gaming setups are not very common games like Apex Legends, Call of Duty Warzone, or even Fortnite is not able to enjoy the success that they receive in the United States and European markets. A mobile port of a famous PC game not only helps the game get more players but also more financial streams from micro-transactions which help in offsetting the development cost of PC and Console versions of the game.
